This information is held by Mauritius Commercial Bank online payment gateway who is the payment processor, and is PCI DSS certified by the Card Association (VISA and MasterCard) as per international compliance norms for VISA and MasterCard.

By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
Dispatch times may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.
In order to contract with the Company you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. The Company retains the right to refuse any request made by you. If your order is accepted we will inform you by email and we will confirm the identity of the party which you have contracted with. This will usually be the Company or may in some cases be a third party. Where a contract is made with a third party the Company is not acting as either agent or principal and the contract is made between yourself and that third party and will be subject to the terms of sale which they supply you. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of foreign products and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.
(a) Our Contract
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.
(b) Pricing and Availability
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the rate applicable at the time of the order.
Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the 'Total Cost'.
Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Your card will be debited upon authorisation being received. The monies received upon the debiting of your card shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the goods you wish to purchase. Once the goods have been dispatched and you have been sent a confirmation email the monies paid as a deposit shall be used as consideration for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the confirmation email.
When paying by bank transfer, the company will be waiting for the payment within 7 days. The order will be cancelled if payment has not been done. When payment is received, the customer shall be notified for a delivery date.
The Customer must be a registered Customer. The payment is made in Mauritian Rupees
The Customer can choose from the following payment methods at the moment of placing an online order:
a) Online payment using MasterCard or VISA Card or American Express
b) Bank transfer
c) Pay on Delivery by Debit / Credit card payment with the delivery agent
Or at Urban Home, Mall of Mauritius, Bagatelle
Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the showcase price.
(a) For the purchase of products, the Customer may cancel his order within 24 hours following the purchase by calling Urban Home on +230 4140098.
(b) For cancelled orders as above, the Customer will have to give the Order Confirmation Number when calling on +230 4140098 for processing of the cancellation. Urban Home shall endeavor to reverse the payment back to his bank card account. For each cancelled order, the Customer will be charged a fee of 5% on the purchase amount.
Your satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to make your shopping experience as efficient and effective as possible. However, if for any reason you have concerns about your subscription, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include in your claim explanation of reasons for the refund, and your order information in matter to get full/partial refund according to the remained credit and system usage. We will contact you within two business days from the date email received. We will work hard to resolve your concerns quickly and fairly.
(a) Returns may be considered by the Company under the following conditions:
1. Return will be accepted within 7 business days as from the delivery date.
2. The product delivered is faulty.
3. If the Customer notes that the delivery box is not sealed or is damaged at the time of delivery.
4. If an out of box failure is noted for the particular product upon testing at time of delivery.
5. If there is a mismatch between the product ordered and the delivered one.
6. For the conditions mentioned above:
The Customer must not accept delivery and same shall be returned to Urban Home by the Delivery Staff.
The Customer understands that the second delivery depends on stock availability, and where stock is available, the product will be delivered to the Customer within 3 Business Day.
7. For each refund order, the Customer will be charged a fee of 5% on the purchase amount.
(b) After delivery, the Customer must notify Urban Home as soon as reasonably possible once he becomes aware of any defect in the operation of a product by calling on 414 0098. Any request for return will be considered solely based on the warranty conditions attached to the product including the following conditions:
1. The Customer must bring or send the defective product to:
Mall of Mauritius
2. The Customer agrees neither to, nor allow any other party to modify or tamper the product. Any evidence of tamper will be tantamount to material breach by the Customer and Urban Home shall have no obligation to accept back the product.
3. The Customer must present the Sales Invoice, and/or the Transaction Receipt and identification details (National ID or Passport).
(c) Urbanhome.mu reserves the right to refund the Customer, or exchange the product for a return as per above.
(d) Policy Changes:
Urbanhome.mu reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at its discretion, or against any customer it believes is abusing this policy. Any such revision or change will be binding and effective immediately after posting of the revised Refund Policy on email@example.com. You agree to periodically review our website, including the current version of our Refund Policy. Our refund policy is made available on our website. It is your obligation to review our refund policy for any such revisions.
(a) Delivery area is limited to Mauritius.
(b) Pick up point is at Urban Home, Mall of Mauritius, Bagatelle.
(c) Once the Customer places an online order and payment confirmed, Urbanhome.mu commits to deliver the order within 3 to 7 business days.
Delivery for furniture will be within 14 business days.
(d) Should the product be out of stock Urbanhome.mu will immediately inform the customer by email or telephone and a full refund will be granted should Urbanhome.mu be in possession of the payment.
(e) To ensure safe delivery, the Customer must properly fill the delivery address, the mobile number and any specific instructions in the fields provided online.
(f) Urbanhome.mu Delivery Team will contact the Customer directly to notify him when the delivery of his order shall take place.
(g) Should Urbanhome.mu not be in a position to deliver the Customer’s orders within the given timeframe (for e.g in case of any force majeure), Urban Home Delivery Team shall contact the Customer immediately & notify him when the delivery of his order shall take place.
(h) In the event that the Customer notices a change in his availability with respect to receiving his ordered products, he must call Urbanhome.mu on +230 414 0098 to notify the Delivery Team as soon as he reasonably can.
(i) The Customer/receiver needs to present an identification document (National ID or Passport) to the Urbanhome.mu Delivery Staff before accepting the delivery.
(j) Delivery is made on working days only, between 09h00 and 17h00, with prior notification.
(k) If no one is present to take delivery at the delivery address, we will contact you accordingly to rearrange delivery.
(l) The Customer must ensure and check that the product delivered is the right one and that he receives a Warranty Certificate, where applicable. A sales invoice indicating the amount paid by the Customer will also be provided to him upon delivery.
(m) The Customer will have to sign a Delivery Note acknowledging delivery of the products and need to check and ensure that his products are delivered sealed. For any issue regarding the delivered product, the Customer will have to inform Urban Home via email on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone on +230 414 0098.
(n) Urbanhome.mu shall help the Customer for configuration of the products (where applicable) upon request, but will not be held liable for any mishap that may occur during installation of equipment.
